A Petrolblog bonus: meet my son’s ‘practical and sensible’ SEAT Leon Cupra
A Monday evening ‘bonus’ from Petrolblog. My youngest son needed a practical and sensible daily driver to preserve his Renault Sport Twingo for weekends. A diesel Golf was the obvious answer, so naturally he bought a 2002 SEAT Leon Cupra.
Here’s a quick introduction to the car, the work it has already required and whether a 178bhp hot hatch makes any sense as everyday transport.
Disclosure: The Envoy Aterna tyres fitted to the Leon were supplied free of charge for review. No payment was made and the supplier had no editorial input.
