Winterising a 1997 Toyota Camry: An almost total failure (tyres, paint and goats)
A winter update on my 1997 Toyota Camry – or at least an attempt at winter preparation. In this video:
- Davanti all-season tyres and why they make sense on a year-round daily driver in the UK
- The reality of ageing paintwork, lacquer peel and cosmetic ‘character’
- A new MOT with no advisories (somehow)
- A bonging noise that sounds suspiciously like a Manic Street Preachers song
- Rubber mats, a CarPlay unit (full video coming soon) and a general failure to actually winterise anything properly
- Occasional goats
This isn’t a polished car review; just an honest, slightly rambling update on living with an old Toyota Camry in the real world.
