Pagani Zonda R: Epic launch procedure
You probably wouldn’t expect to see a Pagani Zonda R on PetrolBlog. But there are three reasons why I wanted to feature it here. Firstly, the video has been put together by my friend and ace snapper, Simon Clay. Secondly, this thing completed the Nurburgring in just 6 minutes and 47 seconds. Thirdly, for the simply epic and goosebumps creating launch procedure. The sense of pure anticipation is overwhelming. I’m seriously thinking about using excerpts from this video as my alarm clock.

Only 15 Zonda Rs will ever be built, each one capable of accelerating from 0-60mph in just 2.7 seconds. The engine is sourced from the Mercedes CLK-GTR, a 6.0 litre AMG V-12 producing some 750bhp. It can change gear every 20 milliseconds. This is a car of biblical proportions!
